2012 again saw a dramatic reduction in raptors, despite the rapid increase in the rabbit population. To date no explanation is forthcoming. However, many more red kites have been spotted. which can't be all bad can it? And the return of the hen harrier was fantastic!!!!!
Big return of Buzzards this year, also several pairs of ravens have come to the area.
