PEAK DISTRICT BREAKS
B&B DERBYSHIRE. B&B PEAK DISTRICT.
RIVERSIDE - premier B&B in the Peak District National Park Derbyshire.
The Peak District National Park in Derbyshire is the second most visited national park in the world! Not so incredible really when you realise that the Peak District is within 20 - 70 minutes drive of all the major conurbations in England apart from London. The Peak District in Derbyshire is divided into two distinct areas; the Dark Peak to the north and the White Peak to the south. The Dark Peak area is best known for its peat bogs and wild, open, barren landscapes, whereas the White Peak is an area of lush rolling pasture land broken only by the famous Peak District dry stone walls. Both areas are classed as being of outstanding natural beauty and contain many rare examples of flora and fauna. The Peak District National Park Derbyshire was the first area in Britain to be designated a National Park in 1952. Since then it has become more and more accessible to people searching for peace, tranquillity and the pleasure of enjoying a good day's walking, cycling or just touring around, taking in the stunning beauty on offer in our wonderful Peak District National Park.
