PACKHORSE INN - CROWDECOTE

A very warm welcome from Kim and her staff awaits you at this superb country inn. The Packhorse Inn is definitely our favourite hostelry here at Riverside B&B. Always a great selection of local cask ales, excellent wines from Mission estate winery New Zealand and without doubt THE BEST  food by far in the area, luckily, it all comes at very sensible prices.
Kim can usually tempt you with wonderful cask ales from Leatherbritches Brewery at Fenny Bentley,
Thorn Bridge Hall Brewery at Ashford in the Water and Storm Brewery from Macclesfield.
All these breweries come highly recommended.

To make a reservation please call Kim on 01298 - 83618.
Please mention that you are staying or booked in at Riverside B&B.

The Inn is only a short drive from Riverside B&B, and on a summers evening, breathtaking views can be enjoyed over the Dove valley with Chrome and Parkhouse hills dominating the view.

Check out these mouth watering starters -:

Seafood trio of kings prawns, pan fried squid & Thai style mussels.
Wild mushroom, leek & parmesan tagliatelle in a cream & white wine sauce.
(This tagliatelle dish makes a really great main course; one of my favourites!)
Homemade pepper, leek, asparagus, cherry tomato & parmesan tartlet with a pepper chutney.

For a treat of a main course, The Packhorse does the  best fish & chips in the world!
Fish, deep fried in real ale batter, wonderful crispy chips, with home made tartar sauce.

Jane & I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this establishment. We operate our B&B to the highest catering standards, and, we are both very fussy where, and what we eat out.

The Packhorse really is the tops!
